LeeStock Music Festival 2025

| |

In memory of Lee Dunford, LeeStock Music Festival is a two-day event in the beautiful grounds of Kentwell Hall in Long Melford Suffolk. It is a non-profit event to raise money for the Willow Foundation which provides uplifting and unforgettable special days for seriously ill young adults.

LeeStock is a delightfully intimate family friendly festival which has stayed within its core values. The weekend was sold out, yet there was still a feeling of space within the festival – we were not packed in for the sake of ticket sales which made the festival even more special as you felt honoured to be part of it. Everyone was pleased to be there and everyone was super friendly, it had that wonderful community spirit vibe.

It also meant the queues for the bar, food and toilets were perfectly acceptable!

As a family-friendly festival there was plenty to do for the kids, the kids area was filled with inflatables for them to play on, fairground rides, colouring and an opportunity to decorate their own t-shirts. There was also a football area and escape room for the older kids.

The food stands were provided a variety from Thai food to Mac n Cheese, pizza to chicken, and the bar provided a good selection of beers, ciders, lagers from a range of local brewers for LeeStock’s very own Beer & Cider Festival.

There was also a Comedy Stage which featured Martin Westgate, Mark Ahier and  Hooma Comedy Quiz.

Being a music festival, there were plenty of acts across the two stages to entertain the crowd for the weekend.

Stage Two – Saturday featured: Suffolk Slappers, Bear Witch Project, Last Minute Booking, Harry Blues, Jacklin and Smith, Alicia Hall and Aberrant Dabbler.

Stage Two – Sunday featured: Whistlers Mother, Luke Askew, Kinder This Way, James Noble, Jason Rampling, and Matt McGoldrick

On the Main Stage headlining Saturday night were the British post-punk Maxïmo Park preforming a charged, emotionally rich performance. The support acts on the Saturday were Sleeper and The Twang with other acts through the day were Shambolics, Frazer Morgan and The Great Catastrophes, Pink Serene, Evy Frearson, Diamonds & Whisky, Thera and The Tom Sanderson Band.

The Main Stage on Sunday was headlined by none other BoneyM. who brought the disco tunes as the sun was setting. The main supporting acts on Sunday were The Real Thing, who still sound amazing, an energetic performance from OMI, other acts on the line-up were Cousin Kula, The Joe Keeley Band, Wilswood Buoys, KC Johns and Leah Wilcox. There was also LeeStock Rockeoke with The Good The Bad & The Ugly & Jim.

Overall, LeeStock is a charming, relaxed, enjoyable family-friendly festival where you can relax for two days listening to fantastic music. Make sure you get your tickets early for 2026. For more information go to their website: LeeStock
